Trailer With Container was Sited to Nearly Fall in Lagos

A fatal accident was averted by the Lagos Bridge guild yesterday as a trailer with container was sighted to nearly fall from the bridge around Constain-Iponri axis of Lagos.

Passer-by was filled with fear as they could not believe how the trailer could hold its grip on the bridge.

It took the help of the  Lagos State Traffic Management Agency men to control the heavy traffic from the road.

In Nigeria, every year fresh graduates travel across the nation to different states in a scheme called National Youth Service Corps popularly called NYSC. The NYSC scheme was an initiative of the Yakubu Gowon military regime in 1973 to reconstruct, reconcile and rebuild the country after the Nigerian Civil war.
