DR. ABIMBOLA QUITS ALLIANCE FOR DEMOCRACY TO MOVE FORWARD
The gubernatorial candidate of th Alliance for Democracy, Dr. Abimbola
Ajayi-Ojora has denounced her membership from the party as a result of
dishonesty, injustice and fraudulent played by the party leaders.
Abimbola, who decleared this in a press briefing at the party secretariat, said she felt disdained by the unscrupulous act dismayed in leadership of the AD in manipulating and shortchanging her candidacy on claims that she has not spend enough for the party.
She explained that integrity, credibility and commitment, which should be the foundation of partisan politics, are lacking in AD; thereby quit the party and chose to move forward to a greater height with her supporters for a better.
According to her, she moves for greater achievements, for gender mainstreaming, and with understanding and a positioning that women are crucial to the fulfillment of Nigeria's dream to greatness.
In addition to her view, the executive director, Gender Development Action, Ada Agina-Ude called for actual implementation of women participation in politic to ensure Nation's development as practiced in advance countries
