MUSLIMS PRAYS FOR PEACE IN NIGERIA
Muslims have joined hands to pray for peace to reign before, during and after February elections.
The prayer which was organized by the Joint Muslim Forum and Muslim Community of Lagos state initiative today, centered on peaceful co-existence and unity among various parties and groups in Nigeria.
Addressing the congregation, Former Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Lagos State University, Nojeem Jumah said the position of power was ordained from Allah and it should be used for the comfort and benefit of the people.
He thereby urged Muslims to use the opportunity given to them by Allah to choose their leaders by voting for the right person.
