BOSCH opens Nigeria Office, to trains thousands in Automotive sector
In alliance with the
National Automotive Council (NAC), Bosch Limited has planned a Long-term growth
potential in Nigeria by setting-up a developing technical training skill in
automotive aftermarket sectors.
The leading global supplier of technology and services sees Africa
in general and Nigeria in particular as an important economic hub for potential
market; therefore establishing its production room to expanding its presence.
In a statement made available to DirectReporterng, a member of
Bosch’s board of management, Uwe Roschke, stated, “We see high potential for
our business in Africa. Thanks to its rapidly-growth population, low median
age, increasing meddle class, and optimistic economic forecast; we expect a
significant demand for the Bosch product ‘Invented for life’
“We are committed, not only to provide an excellent
hardware, but to give outstanding software that will serve the Nigerians
needs,” said Roschke.
In the same vein, the President, Robert Bosch Limited - Markus
Thill said, “Our partnership with the NAC demonstrate our long-term commitment
to Nigeria.
“Bosch aim to further develop the technical competence of
the local workforce especially in the automotive industry for the mutual
success of the Nigeria industry and Bosch’s business in this Country,” he
added.
The head, Robert Bosch Limited, Ghislain Nounbessy also added
that this development would have a positive impact on Nigeria teaming youths through
its develop technical skill in automotive aftermarket sector.
Nounbessy, who revealed this at the official opening of its
Sales, Marketing and Service Office in Lagos, said, “they were expanding the
company international presence to train students from various technical
institutions as well as the ‘roadside’ mechanics to work professionally in
automotive operations.”
